Right now your home is losing energy (and money) through hidden gaps and cracks. First, identify these leaks in a matter of minutes using the Black & Decker's Thermal Leak Detector©. Then, reduce the air loss with GREAT STUFF™ Insulating Foam Sealant. Here are some tips to help you.
Perimeter

Sink Plumbing: Scan the PVC plumbing under the sink in rooms that are on the perimeter of the house. Seal by filling the gap between the wall and the pipe.

Basement

A/C Wiring: Scan where the cooling line from the A/C condenser (look for a copper pipe) that enters the basement from the outside of the house. You will find near where the air conditioning unit sits on the ground. Seal the penetration between the pipe and the wall.

Sill Plate: Scan the walls of an unfinished basement where the wood 2 X 4 or 2 X 6 meets the poured concrete foundation wall. Then seal around the wood framing.
Attic

HVAC Penetrations: Scan the top floor registers, which will more than likely be located on the ceiling. Seal between the penetration and duct work from the attic.
