Nitro-Energy Sweepstakes – GREAT STUFF™ Awards $10,000 Home Energy Makeover Grand Prize

Marietta, GA – January 16, 2007

James Farmer, a surveyor in the construction field and an avid DIYer, is a big believer in GREAT STUFF™ Insulating Foam Sealant. He admitted using more than 60 cans of the product at one of his recent building sites to insulate and air seal. James installed GREAT STUFF™ in all the window and door frames and filled the myriad gaps and cracks that can appear during new construction. However, when he sent in his entry to our Nitro-Energy Sweepstakes on a whim, he had no expectation of being chosen as the grand prize winner.

"I noticed the Sweepstakes sticker on a few cans we had lying around the site and just decided to send an entry in on impulse," said Farmer. "Thankfully, I did!"

Farmer will be presented with a cash prize of $10,000 to be used for a home energy makeover project.

1ST PLACE WINNER'S FAMILY RACES TO THE NHRA NATIONALS IN LAS VEGAS

After using GREAT STUFF™ Insulating Foam Sealant for several years on various projects in his home, Chris Jones was thrilled to win first prize in our Nitro-Energy Sweepstakes – a trip to the ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals.

"I always enter contests and never win. I can't think of a better prize than this," said Jones.

Jones, an avid user of GREAT STUFF™, installed many windows with the help of GREAT STUFF™ Window & Door. "I used latex products in the past and was never satisfied. Latex disintegrates when used outdoors; more important, GREAT STUFF™ leaves a better seal." In addition to applying GREAT STUFF™ around his windows, Jones has used the product in his subfloor and basement, and even in a tree in his backyard.

Jones is already planning his next home project. "I am going to install some very large windows and possibly an addition off our dining room, and I will be sure to use GREAT STUFF™ to seal both projects completely."

Unfortunately, Jones was unable to travel to Las Vegas. A veterinarian in his small Michigan town, he can't leave without causing some business issues. Instead, his wife, Phyllis, and her sister Kimberly Preston enjoyed meeting with champion racers Tony and Cruz Pedregon in Las Vegas.
