Fill Holes in Trees

GREAT STUFF™ can be used to fill holes in trees to prevent further damage by insects and the elements. The foam will deteriorate when exposed to sunlight so any exposed foam must be painted. When painted to match the color of the tree trunk, you’ll never know the tree has been foamed! tree

Gardening

GREAT STUFF™ can be used in gardening to bond outdoor materials such as wood and concrete. Make sure that the surface is dry before applying foam. The foam will deteriorate when exposed to sunlight so any exposed foam must be painted. Foam can also be hidden with rocks or pebbles. Cured foam is non-toxic and will not harm fish.

Crafts, Hobbies and Projects

  • GREAT STUFF™ is a favorite of model train hobbyists to create props such as miniature mountains.
  • GREAT STUFF™ can be used to create large sculptures; for example, a coral reef exhibit or props for a haunted house.
  • GREAT STUFF™ is used in taxidermy applications, as a filler and for structural support.
  • GREAT STUFF™ is perfect for school projects, science fairs, and arts and crafts.
waterfall

Water flows over rock to form a small waterfall. Use pebbles or small rocks to hide foam.

Note: When filling large voids or creating large sculptures, make sure that the first layer of foam is allowed to cure before applying the next layer. The foam will not cure properly if foam is applied all at once in a large quantity. Since the foam uses moisture from the air to cure, light misting of water between layers will speed up foam curing time.
