SILL PLATE
At the point where pressure-treated wood meets a concrete foundation, there are often gaps to be filled. In an unfinished basement, these gaps will be plain as day. If you have a finished basement with a dropped ceiling, remove the ceiling tiles to access the sill plate and the foundation. Use GREAT STUFF™ Gaps & Cracks to seal the gaps (assuming they are less than 1 inch, use GREAT STUFF™ Big Gap Filler for gaps larger than 1 inch).
